How do I join the IWLCA? Click here to get started!
Who can join the IWLCA? The IWLCA offers memberships to all current NCAA, NAIA and WCLA coaches. In addition, former college coaches who were NCAA or NAIA coaches for a minimum of 15 years and do not currently coach may join as an “Emeritus Coach.” While youth, high school, club, and international coaches cannot currently become members, they can access education content through the Educational Access Subscription. See below for more details.
Is a College Membership individual or institutional based? Memberships at the college level are INSTITUTIONAL, meaning that one membership covers all individuals on the women’s lacrosse coaching staff. This includes, but is not limited to; head coaches, associate head coaches, assistant coaches, graduate assistant coaches, volunteer assistant coaches, directors of operations, and directors of player development. Sports information personnel, support staff, and/or team managers are not included in institution memberships.
Do you offer any high school, club coach, youth coach or international coaching memberships? The IWLCA does not currently offer high school, club coach, youth coach, or international coaching memberships; however, the IWLCA does offer an Educational Access Subscription for those coaches. This annual subscription provides access to resources including the Online Video Library, Diagrams & Documents, and select IWLCA webinars throughout the year. Additionally, subscribers will join the mailing list to be kept up to date with new educational offerings like IWLCA Convention access, town hall meetings and recruiting seminars!
What is the difference between IWLCA Membership and the IWLCA Educational Access Subscription?

At this time, only college coaches can become "members" while youth, high school, club and international coaches may purchase an Educational Access Subscription to support their continuing education efforts. This annual subscription will provide unlimited access to IWLCA coaching development resources, but does not include IWLCA member benefits of legal or mental health services, scheduling assistance, IWLCA Awards programs, or participation in committee service.

Do I have to be a member to attend the IWLCA Convention? Yes, in order for current and former college coaches to attend the IWLCA Convention, you do need to be an active IWLCA member or an Educational Access Subscriber.
How long does my membership last? Institutional memberships run on an annual basis from July 1 thru June 30 the following year. Emeritus Coach memberships last for a lifetime!
How do I renew my Institution’s membership?

Any returning coach from your institution may pay Annual Dues if they are a “company administrator.” Head coaches are the default company administrator, but they can designate other members of the staff as company administrators.

  1.  Log in to your IWLCA account, then select “MY ACCOUNT” from the dropdown menu in the top right-hand corner.
  2.  If you are a company administrator, you will have the option to select “MANAGE INSTITUTION NAME.”
  3.  From your institution’s page, select “RENEW NOW,” then follow the prompts to enter your payment information.

If your institution prefers to pay by check, you can download a PDF invoice for your business office to process payment.

If your designated company administrator is no longer employed by your institution, or your team is a new program, please contact Danie Caro ([email protected]) for assistance to create an account and renew your institution's membership dues.

What payment methods are accepted? For online payments, the IWLCA accepts all major credit cards or ACH payments. Checks should be addressed to:
